Design Concept Realisation, 1975
German graphic designer and photographer Wolfgang Schmittel takes a look at six internationally recognised design policies that cover industrial design, marketing and corporate identity. The six case studies, Braun, Citroen, Herman Miller, Olivetti, Sony and Swissair, are well-illustrated and together function as a mode for comparison and difference. For graphics designers, the highlight has to be Swissair. There's a bunch of fascinating aspects in the case study, and some wonderful imagery.
