The first volume of World of Logotypes brings together over 3000 examples of American, Canadian and International logotype designs. At the back, there's a lovely section called "World of Air Transport". This, alongside the Kuwayama book, is a bit of classic reference tool. One of the early logo books that managed to collate thousands of logos into one publication. This volume is distinctive in that there are a lot of logotypes, alongside logos, that give an indication of lock-up, quite a rare treat. Further, as the author Al Cooper was based in Toronto, there is a strong favour those logotypes from Canada.
The condition of the book is fine. The dust jacket is intact but with scuffs. small tears, damage to spine. Please see image. Inside, pages are discoloured, not your bright white but uncreased and in good condition. Inside cover has a library sticker.
Volume 3 is available, however, is missing a dust jacket. Please get in touch if you're interested in all three volumes for price.
