eBay Brand Guidelines, 2002
A rare chance to get hold of the eBay brand guidelines released in 2002. This is an unusual and quirky item, presenting brand management using a cookbook metaphor. This is presented as a ring folder and sheets, some of which fold out. Each of the six sections is divided by a chapter opener. Chapters include 'Recipe for Success: A Strong Brand', 'The First Course: eBay Brand Essence' and 'The Main Course: eBay Logo'. There's everything you'd expect with the document covering logo, logo colours, variations and a do and do nots. There's also interesting sections on tone of voice and look and feel. Overall, it's a really lovely piece, in great condition and well-designed. A great collectors item and likely a future artefact of importance.
