Expo 90 Brand Guidelines, 1987
Brand Guidelines for the International Garden and Greenery Exposition, Osaka, Japan 1990 (Expo 90) designed in 1987 by Mitsuo Katsui. This is the original standards manual for the Expo. This includes folder, plus fifteen loose sheets cover the various logo lock-ups, English and Japanese logotypes, logo construction, colour palette and typography. A number of sheets include the spot colours, a sheet of colour chips.
Also, and super-rare, this also comes with the guidelines for the mascot Hanazukin-chan. This is a staple bound 8pp booklet outlining the colour and variations of the mascot.
These are A4 in size and in good condition for their age. The folder has a slight mark running across the cover, please see image.
