IDEA / アイデア is a quarterly magazine dedicated to graphic design and typography. It was first published in 1953 in Tokyo, Japan by Seibundo Shinkosha Co., Ltd, and is still going strong today.
This a fantastic and hard to find issue with a special feature: IDEA vs The Designers Republic, which includes over 50 pages original design works, layouts and cover by TDR. It is a unique object and, for those fans of TDR, a must have issue of the magazine. TDR employ their unique aesthetic to create some striking spreads, using fluorescent and metallic inks and uncoated Kraft paper.
